About me
I am an enthusiastic full stack developer with a passion for building impactful projects and continuous learning. Experienced in developing innovative applications using a wide range of technologies, leading teams and adhering to agile methodologies.
My fascination in technology began from early years of studying GCSE and A Level computer science. And the love of problem solving and coding only grew over time so I decided to pursue a career in tech. Having worked in hospitality for many years has equipped me with strong leadership, effective communication and working under pressure in a fast paced environment. I am eager to contribute to a team where I can further enhance my development skills and create software that positively impacts people’s lives.

News Room – Frontend
A Reddit inspired fully responsive news website that utilises my own back-end endpoints. This web application features a homepage with a list of articles that can be filtered by topics and sorted by different factors. Contains individual article pages for users to read the content and allows voting functionality. Users can participate in discussion of an article by posting or deleting comments.

A RESTful API built with various endpoints, including GET, POST, PATCH, and DELETE requests. Followed the MVC architecture and wrote unit tests using Jest and integration tests using Supertest to ensure code quality and handle potential errors. Hosted the API on Render which serves as the backend of News Room - Frontend.
